Kõik, mis on postitatud Burton poolt

  1. To Pac: (leidsin foorumist) From October 2008 to January 2009 a select group of extremely wealthy players decided to make some decisions. These were pretty big decisions, some were made as groups and some were made by individual wealthy investors. To sum this up they would -buy a large percentage of the rares market (edibles, partyhats, 2nd class rares) -promote false propaganda about something called 'street prices' -make rares seem more desirable (obviously this is similar to propanganda and this was spread later in 2009) To go into detail a little more about street prices: Street prices are prices of undervalued items, these items have a very high potential rise to make. They are often sold for other items that could be considered to either make a shorter rise sooner, or a longer rise later. Now, the hoarders plans worked pretty well. Infact it worked so well all rares had nearly doubled in price and there was no end in sight. However, they were only succesful in buying out partyhats and 3rd age. Since they knew 3rd age wasn't a 'true rare/discontinued item' they sold them. All of them, and this caused the Febuary 3rd age crashes. Well, now almost every investor had a huge amount of cash in their inventories, banks, and grand exchange slots, just taking us space and not being used for anything. They decided they would buy out easters, pumpkins, santas, disks, and eventually, 3rd age again. However, only easters, pumpkins, disks and eventually 3rd age and masks worked. Now by late 2009 and early 2010 JaGEx realised that they were gaining insane amounts of money, billions of billions per month. So JaGEx decided to make it so the items they had could only change price every 2-3 days. This stopped them , for the most part, from gaining too much gp. So they decided there was more potential in items without these limits. They then did what any reasonable investor would, they took the risk of dumping edibles(there more profitable items) and bought out santas. This is why santas are rising so greatly now. People have realised the profits to be made, and have just followed this small group of people.
