The account is locked because either Jagex or the person in control of the account wishes it to remain secure. We are always trying to make our game as safe as possible, and we locked your account because we suspected that someone else may have been playing on it. Your account is now under lock and key, and is ready for you to get back again. You can appeal the lock on the account in much the same way as requesting a new password. Once the account has been unlocked, you will be granted a new password and the account will be available to use once more.
Make sure your computer is super-secure (you can check the Safety & Security Guidelines if you’re not sure about this). There is no point in us giving you a new password if it is immediately stolen. Send in a request from the computer that you frequently play on and we’ll get you back in game.
To make sure your account remains protected, when we know you’re the owner of the account, we’ll reset your password and recovery questions for you.
